What a day! Today we had several lay offs at my school due to the budget cuts from the state. Over 300 in my district alone! Texas is losing a lot of great teachers. My heart is so sadden by all the wonderful teachers that are now out of work. The Texas education department needs to get its act together soon for the future of our state! Top and skirt-Dress Barn

Yesterday we had a field trip to the zoo and had to wear our school t-shirts so no picture from yesterday. I am still trying to recover from that trip. Trying to keep a group of 2nd graders together in a large space is very exhausting. I was all dressed this morning and opened the door and had to make some adjustments because it was cold!
