Hi There!

Today we spent the day down on Galveston Island to enjoy the activities at Moody Gardens. They have several exhibits and movies to see and then at night Festival of Lights. You walk a mile and a half to see beautiful Christmas light displays.

Sorry for the blurry pictures today. My camera man was in a hurry!

I think I was the only person in our city wearing a scarf in near 70 degree weather. I am not ready for the warmer weather. Once it turns warm it becomes hot really fast.

We are learning about fairy tales in class. One of my students said I look like the big bad wolf! Also, I received lots of pets today. The kids could not walk by with out petting me!

Where did the cold weather go? I still want to wear my winter clothes! The thermometer is slowly climbing towards the 70's and I have so many warm clothing that hardly get worn. I am going to sweat to death or sweat off some inches and wear them anyways.

Woo Hoo for Saturdays! This evening we went downtown to the Houston Aquarium to have fun. The aquarium had a restaurant, exhibit, rides and carnival games. The cousins had fun hanging out with each other and catching up. Top-Walmart

On my nails I have the same colors from yesterday, Sally Hansen Fuchsia Bling Bling, Pure Ice Don't You Wish and then layered on top Sally Hansen Crackle overcoat in Distressed Denim.
This was my first attempt at crackle. It was a little tricky. I wanted to go over and reapply but then it got too thick. Have you tried crackle nail polish? Any tips to apply it?

In the exhibit we saw some things we liked, like this spotted stingray.

Heading out to brunch with the family and then just hanging out around the house.I am so proud of myself this week. I resisted temptation at the mall yesterday. I didn't buy any clothing items. Also, I went to the Y six times this week. I completed 14 miles on the treadmill and completed my strength training on the weight machines every day I went. I hit the Y again today and increased my workout. I am so proud I didn't pass out on the treadmill. Yesterday at the mall I found the Nick and Nora pj's below at Target but they didn't have my size. I was very sad but I thought I would look on line when I got home and see if another store had them. Woo Hoo! The store out near my sister had my size since they were sold out on line. On our way out to my sister's pool we made a detour to Target to pick them up. They were not on sale but I fell in love with them. I can't wait to wash them up and curl up with a book. Today was my last day of work for this school year. I had to attend a computer training and a summer enrichment meeting. I decided to teach the summer enrichment program this summer.
