Woo Hoo for Saturdays! This evening we went downtown to the Houston Aquarium to have fun. The aquarium had a restaurant, exhibit, rides and carnival games. The cousins had fun hanging out with each other and catching up. Top-Walmart

On my nails I have the same colors from yesterday, Sally Hansen Fuchsia Bling Bling, Pure Ice Don't You Wish and then layered on top Sally Hansen Crackle overcoat in Distressed Denim.
This was my first attempt at crackle. It was a little tricky. I wanted to go over and reapply but then it got too thick. Have you tried crackle nail polish? Any tips to apply it?

In the exhibit we saw some things we liked, like this spotted stingray.

Outfit of the Day 6/10/11

What an awkward pose! We went up to the mall to cool off and see Kung Fu Panda 2 in 3D. I can't watch 3D movies with out getting a headache so I was no fun the rest of the time in the mall. I did go down to Sears and try on several pieces of Land's End clothing. I was so excited that they fit and they were not in the plus size. I still have a long way to go but it felt good to try on and look around at all I will be wearing soon. It has kept me motivated! T shirt-JC Penney

I picked these bracelets up at Sam Moon. They had several colors in the same style. I should have picked them up in each color because I absolutely love them. The Sam Moon is a drive for me but while out shopping the other day I noticed they are opening a new location near me! :)

My fun shoes from Shoe Dazzle. I have thought I would love shoe dazzle since I love shoes but I am losing interest since so many of my choices for the month are super high 2 1/2-3 inch heels which are just not appropriate for me to wear to work. Also, I am not a go out clubbing, dancing girl, just a simple comfort seeking girl! :)

Well, I finished painting my son's room and getting the furniture back into place before he arrived home on Friday. He was thrilled to see the new wall colors. Now we need to hang things on the wall and organize his toys and stuff and it will be done! Here are my Lush goodies. I bought the Coco Lotion and then received the three other products for FREE! I got a facial mask, which I have never tried from Lush, a soap and a bath bomb.

Saw this necklace on a couple of ladies on You Tube and I feel in love with it. It was $19.99. When I picked mine up there were only two more left. It's a simple necklace with a little sparkle.

Happy Summer!

It's hot here and the thought of getting dressed is not pleasant. Today I had to take my sister to the airport and then stay at her house to watch the kids while she is gone. New Purse

On the way back home we stopped at Sam Moon. I have never been there before and OMG I love this store. I can't believe I have never been there before. I was in heaven. As soon as we walked in my sweetie turned to me and said, "You must be in heaven." I picked up this lovely new purse. My inner cowgirl was speaking to me.
