Friday and Easter Sunday

Not great photos for this post. I tried to take my own here and didn't do such a great job. We did not go to the egg hunt this morning. My son wasn't sure he wanted to hunt, he feels he is getting too big for it. So we went to the Army Surplus store instead to get some items he wanted. Yellow cardi-Target

Close up of flower shirt. I didn't put on a necklace because I wanted the flowers to be the focus.

Easter Sunday: I found this dress at Marshall's back in February and decided it would be my Easter dress. Growing up we always had a new dress for Easter and Christmas and I still follow those rules my mom instilled in me. My hair was crazy today. It couldn't make up its mind if it wanted to frizz or lay flat. My shoes are so old. I wanted to get new ones but it didn't happen. Plus after wearing heels all day yesterday this low heels were a treat for my feet. I tried on a wide stretch red belt but husband said he liked better without.

I hope you had a great Easter with your family and friends.

  2. I really like the yellow cardi with the cute top. Also, I think husbands just don't like belts. My husband always says he likes my outfits better without belts, but I obviously ignore his opinion most of the time.

Maybe you can try it with a belt another time. Or you can belt it and add a blazer over it if you're not too comfortable with the belted look at first.

  3. Oh, I also wanted to answer your question from a couple of weeks ago about Fallas Paredes. I don't usually buy anything there, but I stopped by to check for some cushions for my computer chair. I bought bedding from there several years ago and it was awful, really bad quality. I also bought jeans there many years ago and they were my favorite, but I don't fit into their regular sizes anymore. Hmm, oh yeah, I also bought a couple of things to decorate the apartment when we first moved in. Those things have been average quality.

They get a lot of merchandise though, sometime name brand, you just have to go at the right time. Hope that helps!

  4. I love love love the blue and yellow combo. I am so into yellow for Spring - I keep buying more and more of it in various items! I may just have a "yellow" week next week!
