Outfit of the Day and NOTD 6/22/11

Today we woke up to rain! We have not had rain since Easter and were under fire bans and experiencing a terrible drought. Thank you to whomever sent it our way, my grass thanks you too! So I couldn't get pictures till late afternoon and I am a wrinkled mess. Shirt-?

On my nails today I am wearing OPI San Tan Tonio. It's a nice light brown shade. It matched the khaki stripe in my crops today. I have two coats with no top coat. As you can see from the pictures I have some tip wear already. When I type on the keyboard I strike fairly hard and I was on here a lot today catching up on my blog list reading.

I purchased this dress from Walmart.com and its OK. I am not thrilled about it but it was so cheap and I thought it would be cool enough for the summer. When I putted in on this morning my sweetie asked if I was going to the pool! So yeah, it will most likely be my swimsuit cover up very soon! Last night we celebrated my birthday at my parents and my sister and her family gave me this necklace. I love seahorses! Dress-Walmart

For my nails today I kept the same polish from yesterday OPI Dutch Tulips but I jazzed it up with some sparkle on my ring fingers with OPI Mad As A Hatter. What do you think?

Outfit of the Day and NOTD 6/20/11

This evening we are headed over to my parents to celebrate my birthday a week early. We will have family in town next week and will be showing them a good time and not have time to celebrate if that make sense. I pulled these shoes out of the closet because I forgot about them and I know why. They rubbed blisters on the backs of my heels in the short time I wore them to work. I need to get some heel rub things and see if that will help or they are going to the thrift store!

For my nails of the day I wore OPI Dutch Tulips. I bought this polish because of the name. I love tulips. OPI is a great brand of polish. Do you have any?

Outfit of the Day 7/7/10 and New Nail Polish

This morning I spent cleaning the bathrooms. I know very exciting and you all are just green with envy. I also did some organization of beauty products to see what I need/want. It was well into the afternoon before I started to get dressed for the day and then the thunderstorm rolled in. My son was to have a baseball game this evening but it was cancelled so I have no jewelry on except for my watch. I am one of those people that I feel naked if I don't have my watch on. Is there something like that for you, that you need to wear or have near in order to feel complete?Black top-Marshall's, last summer

I changed my nail polish since we were stuck in the house this evening. It's by OPI and called Off With Her Red! in the Alice in Wonderland Collection. It's a tomato red. I need to go back and clean up my nails. I see that I have some stray marks.

I realized that I have not posted my June purchases and will do that sometime this week. I need to pull everything out and take photos. Also, I want to share with you the jewelry I received from the Premier Jewelry Party I had with my mom. And lastly, I want to share a couple of vacation pictures with you all.

Nails

OPI Mad as a Hatter from the Alice in Wonderland Collection. I loved looking at my nails all today.

They sparkled and shined.

I was a hit with the girls in my class.

I do have one problem. The polish had worn off at the tips by the end of the day. I have 3 coats of polish and 1 coat of a top coat. Maybe using more top coats may have prevented the flaking off. If you have worn glitter polish and know how to keep it on, please share.
