Outfit of the Day 1/31/11

The last day of January went out warm and very uneventful for me, which is just fine! The forecast was for the low 70's which I think it was there. I am inside all day long and never felt it. In the next day or two we are fore casted for a freeze with temperatures dipping into the high 20's-low 30's. Brrr! It's no wonder that everyone is sniffling and coughing with this crazy weather. Outfit for a Surprise Party 1/30/11

Tonight we had a surprise party for my sister and her husband. They both turned 40 within a couple of months of each other so we held a joint party for the two of them. Here is my sister below in the orange. No picture of my brother in law because he is a law officer and didn't want his picture all over the Internet. We had a great time visiting with friends we hadn't seen in quite awhile.

I love this necklace. I think its so pretty but every time I turn my head I get a nice little poke from the petals around my neck. Ouch!

I wish I had worn tights instead of the hose but I have a huge hole in my tights and couldn't find another pair in my drawer.

Hurray! We are going out to dinner. I do not like coming home from teaching and having to cook dinner. I am not a good cook and I think my family would starve if they relied on me for all their meals.

What a long day! I was at school from 7 this morning till 8 at night. I know crazy! I woke up feeling yucky. I am sure that one of my students decided to share their germs with me and I am all stopped up. Tonight we had Family Math Night which families come up to the school to play and learn math games and ways to help their child be successful in Math. We had a great turn out and got to meet some of my parents that I needed to see. Now I am just extremely tired. Top-JC Penney

My fun shoes from Shoe Dazzle. I have thought I would love shoe dazzle since I love shoes but I am losing interest since so many of my choices for the month are super high 2 1/2-3 inch heels which are just not appropriate for me to wear to work. Also, I am not a go out clubbing, dancing girl, just a simple comfort seeking girl! :)

I was hoping for so much more with this outfit. Do you ever feel that way with what you put on? This outfit was paired at the store and I thought it looked great. I don't know if its the color, the lighting or lack of sun but I look very washed out. Hurry up Spring and get here!
