Not loving the outfit today but I had already planned to wear it today. I picked up this white cardigan sweater and wanted to wear it before I have to put it up. The sleeves are 3/4 but its a thick one.

Shoe Dazzle

Kimberly at Fab Finds Under 50 has some of the cutest shoes. She has mentioned in several posts that she is a member of Shoe Dazzle, which is a shoe of the month club. Well, I was sent an invitation to join and I have received my first pair! You go to their web site and answer a fun questionnaire and based on your results, they will select 5 pairs of shoes for you. You can pick from those or ask for another selection. I joined because I love shoes and it would be fun to try shoes outside of my comfort zone, shoes that I probably would buy in the store. Out of my 5 choices these are the shoes I picked. I never would have thought to buy yellow strapy sandals! I have been shopping and picked up two dresses and a sweater that I can wear with these. I can't wait until it gets a little bit warmer.

Love the simplicity of silver beads, but I think I needed something with a pendant.

Love this stretch bracelet. I am going to another Premier Jewelry party this weekend. I hope I can find more great pieces to add to my collection.

How cute are these flats? And they are so comfy. I am still wearing tights. I am not ready to go bare leg yet. I need to get the self tanner going. Plus I have damaged my big toe on one foot and its a yucky shade of black. In December I dropped our treadmill on it when moving it for the Christmas tree and it's still gross. I wonder how long until it grows out and is back to normal. It is so going to mess with me wearing sandals.

On Line Purchases

With all the fashion blogs I have been visiting I have discovered and rediscovered some great stores. I want to thank all of them for their heads up on sales, promotions and coupon codes. Deals for the Short and Curvy had a post about Talbot's outlet clearance. I just had to check it out. I haven't shopped at Talbot's in quite awhile. I had a gift card that I have been hanging on to and I was going to find something! Well, here is what I ordered and it arrived while I was in DC. White jeans (I can't remember the last time I wore white jeans!)

Black and white gingham sundress. I am not a bare shoulders kind of girl so I will be looking for a shrug or elbow length cardigan to wear over this.

This cute butterfly skirt.

And two pairs of colored denim carpi's for the summer.

I spent just under $20. with my gift card ($50) on all these items. You've got to love a Talbot's outlet clearance

Sunday 3/21/10

Well, I'm back from DC. We arrived late on Friday evening and we slept in on Saturday. We just hung around the house and then went to see Alice in Wonderland Saturday evening. Loved it! Loved Johnny Depp!



Today was cold and windy. It was not feeling like a spring day! My son stood in the doorway to snap my picture. Out of all the pictures this one was the best. The others my hair is across my face or my dress is blowing up. This is what I wore to church today: Dress-Lane Bryant, March 2010

Close up of the necklace. I love this piece but hardly wear it. The necklace has a magnetic closure right in front and is so easy to put on. You can also wear without the cross or add other enhancers from Judith's line.

Love, love, love this ring. I wear it often. Judith's pieces are very pricey in the real world but on QVC they are affordable.

Just came back from Walmart to get some last minute items for our trip. My son and I are joining other students and parents to travel to Washington, DC for the week. We have a fun filled 5 days itinerary. I hope the weather is nice and no rain.

While at Walmart I did pick up a few items for Spring and Summer. I can't wait to show you later on. Have a great evening and enjoy your week!

Busy Saturday

No outfit picture today. We were on the go and I wore sweats and sneakers, not exciting! While my boys were at baseball practice I ran over to the mall. I was on the hunt for a cross body bag to take on my trip to DC!Cross body bags are so small and do not hold a lot, but this one was very roomy. I found it at JC Penney's and it was on sale for 20 something. The brand name is Relic. I have never had any of their bags before. Here is a close up of the bag. It's a shiny embossed croc in a warm brown.

After JC Penney's I had a few minutes before heading back to the ball fields so I popped into Lane Bryant. They had quite a bit on their sale/clearance racks. Also, right now they are offering Real Women Bucks. For each $50 purchase you earn $25 for a future purchase of over $50. Here is what I left the store with:Three stretch braceletsA black dress that doesn't look like much hanging on a hanger.

A green shirt. The vest I purchased earlier this week at Cato for $10. It's dark denim.

Tomorrow on the To Do List is head to Walmart after church to pick up travel size toiletries.

And for $9 you can beat that! They did have another color, silver but not in my size. May have to make a trip to another Walmart to find one.

Love my new shiny flats! I was a little over dress for the ball fields compared to the other moms but I really didn't care because I wanted to wear my new items.

I also purchased another cardigan, dress, t and skirt at Walmart. I visited Fab Finds Under $50 and ordered the tanks she had with her Friday outfit. They were on sale for $3.99!

On the way home from the mall, I popped into Cato and picked up three new tops. The salesgirl told me that Sunday they are marking a lot down. I don't know if that is just at my store or all stores.

My sweetie is taking me out for yummy Italian food this evening!
