Here are a few pictures from our weekend getaway to New Orleans. One of our favorite things to do is go on a swamp tour. We really enjoy Dr. Wagner's Honey Island Swamp tour. The guides are so informative of the swamp. We got to see El Whoppo. He is one of the largest male alligators in this area. Also the guide took us into a protected area of the swamp and a female had her nest there and she was very defensive. The picture below shows the side of the boat. The female alligator would attack the side of the boat by jumping up and grabbing the metal bars. Scary!

Another thing we enjoy is visiting the Aquarium. I could sit and watch this guy all day!
Most people got to New Orleans to party but we got to EAT! One of the new places we tried this time was the Court of Two Sisters. You get to eat in this beautiful courtyard. At night the twinkle lights sparkle and dance in the branches above.

We really enjoyed our time in the Big Easy and we have so much more to do when we go back.
